A huge “Thank You” to everyone who donated to Heifer International in 2020. St. Paul’s annual donation has amounted to $8416.52. In years past, St. Paul’s Church has donated to Heifer International during Sunday morning worship services and as alternative gifts to honor family and friends at Christmastime. Thank You, St. Paul’s – you contributed more than $20,000 for St. Nicholas Day! With your generosity, we are able to brighten the Christmas of 313 children and their families. We have given Healing Transitions gifts for over 40 children, using the items we found on sale throughout year. In addition, we are delivering gift certificates to 273 children serviced by Families Together and CommWell Health.
Donations to St. Nicholas can still be made by credit card or PayPal by end-of-day December 4. COVID-19 means we will not be able to meet and turn in our gifts and receive our chocolate “gold” as usual. But we can still remember those in need. We will buy and distribute gift cards to the roughly 400 children at the agencies we support.

This weekend (November 20th & 21st) we will be picking up and distributing 50 dry goods boxes, 50 produce boxes, and….. 50 TURKEYS!! I know our recipients will really enjoy these for the holiday. These are big guys, 20-30 pounds each. These need to get picked up at 9:45 on Saturday morning. Also seeking a few volunteers to go to the Kirk on FRIDAY at about 4 pm to pick up the produce boxes and the dry goods boxes. Continue reading for more….

The Episcopal Farmworker Ministry in Dunn, NC, with the help of many organizations including St. Paul’s, recently raised $60,000 for an Emergency Food Fund to help feed agricultural workers during the Covid-19 pandemic.
