During our recent spring cleaning, the Altar Guild found four altar frontals that do not fit the altars in the sanctuary or the chapel. They are beautifully made with lovely embroidery on heavy, good fabric in a variety of the seasonal colors of the church. They are about 4 feet wide by 3 feet long. The youth of St. Paul’s invites everyone to a Taizé Service on May 7 at 7:00 PM in the Chapel. A Taizé worship service involves sung and chanted prayers, meditation, a period of silence, liturgical readings, and icons. There is no preaching. Come join us for a quiet, reflective, and contemplative prayer service.

Confirmation will be celebrated at the 9:00 AM and 11:15 AM services on Easter Day, April 16, 2017. The Rt. Rev. Anne Hodges-Copple, Bishop Diocesan Pro Tem, will be the celebrant for confirmation and reception. A Celebration of Life service will be held for Harold (Hal) Shook at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 30, 2017 at Hope Community Church, 821 Buck Jones Rd., Raleigh. Hal was a long-time member of St. Paul’s, and served as a pilot during World War II, including the invasion of Normandy. Click HERE for Hal’s obituary.
